IVD Development
I am looking for talented R&D scientists with Industry experience to explore new opportunities in the IVD market. Several companies are continuing to push through development and manufacturing projects for IVD teats and reagents and platforms. They are currently seeking multiple bioprocess technicians, engineers and managers for both DNA and Immuno assay development and manufacturing. Major responsibilities for various positions include formulation, validation, process/production management, facilitation of technology transfers and associated production scale-up initiatives from bench to pilot to commercialization. Experience with client and/or vendor relations is a plus. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and experience working within a team environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use the following skills and participate in the following initiatives:
- Assay development Experience
- Protein expression and purification
- Technical aptitude for troubleshooting processes
- Technical understanding to facilitate tech transfer communications (including documentation)
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment installation and optimization
- Statistical analysis to monitor and validate processes in development and production
- Influence product formulation to optimize processes
- Maintain accurate, clear and current documentation for operations personal
- Coordinate with production teams in the development of processes from scale-up through commercialization of biologicals/proteins.
Must Have:
- BS/BE/MS/PhD (all to be considered for various positions)(Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology)
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing and development experience with DNA and or Proteins
- All levels of experience to be considered
- Experience with protein expression and purification
- Experience with process validations (development and execution)
- Experimental design and data analysis
- Strong technical writing skills and problem solving skills
Preferences:
- Experience with client relations
- E. coli and mammalian expression systems
