Professional Personal Income Tax Preparation: Preparers, if you were underpaid, under utilized, uncomfortable with the "while you wait" preparation, or asked to sell unethical products while working for one of the big chains or "fast food" style preparation services, this position is what you are looking for. 

Competitive wages start at rates usually higher than most chain firms.  Benefits include: pleasant work environment, Gas subsidy for commuting to our office(s),  end of season Thank You dinner, cash bonus, and more.  Our active tax season runs through April, unlike many firms whose season runs through February or the beginning of March.  Preparers returning for 2nd season receive continuing education program and option to participate in retirement benefit program.

DUTIES:  Interview clients using pre-written interview sheet; gather and organize client data; answer client pre preparation questions.  Prepare returns ( no while you wait preparation ) utilizing user friendly professional software, research materials, co-workers, and other resources; make file ready for management review.  Conduct "pick up" appointments and review return with client and answer additional client questions.

Qualifications: Candidate will have experience and a good understanding of personal income tax law, have ability to produce many accurate returns per shift, be able to answer client inquiries with accuracy and confidence;  have a strong respect for Tax law, Business law, law in general,  and company policies; be able to learn and follow precise instructions;  work well in a team atmosphere, and be able to promote the goodwill and professional image of the firm.
