Industrial Engineers determine the most effective ways to use the basic factors of production-people, machines, materials, information, and energy-to make a product, and Mohawk Industries is seeking them to foster improvements within our Residential Manufacturing Teams located in North Georgia. We have a unique opportunity for you to come into our organization and help the manufacturing teams reach their goals. In this role, you will be involved in the end-to-end process within the carpet manufacturing environment. By positioning yourself with business leaders to increase productivity through the management of people, management of the organization, and technology, you will have an opportunity to affect the overall business in the coming years. You will be directly responsible for managing all aspects of engineering projects that provide support and assistance to the manufacturing operations. Duties include the development and implementation of plans for highly complex and financially significant major capital improvement and maintenance projects for manufacturing operations at a plant or multiple plant level. You will also provide project management for cross disciplinary engineering functions - operating budgets, project measurements & control for capability, efficiency, quality, timelines, and safety at a plant location or multiple plant locations under direction of management.

Using your problem solving skills obtained through your education (minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's preferred) and continued learning experiences, you will be able to effectively work in this role. You must be comfortable working and speaking with all levels within the organization. Your 8+ years experience in a continuous flow production environment as an Industrial Engineer will give you a good solid background in process improvement, cost reduction plans, work measurements and budget analysis needed to be successful in this position.
