Job Description
Description: The primary purpose of this position is to determine the most effective ways to use the basic factors of production—people, machines, materials, information, and energy—to make a product. They are primarily concerned with increasing productivity through the management of people, methods of business organization, and technology. Duties include but are not limited to: · Analyze the product requirements, use mathematical methods to meet those requirements, and design manufacturing and information to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently· Participate in the design of the plant floor layout· Contact for lean manufacturing improvement in the facility· Manage control systems to aid in financial planning and cost analysis· Design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality· Design or improve systems for the physical distribution of products· Performs other functions as required. QUALIFICATIONS:· Education: Four-year degree in engineering, business or other related field. · Experience: 3-5 years experience in similar environment· Specialized knowledge: Computer skills as required by stated accountabilities, Mechanical ability, technical knowledge on production equipment as well as facilities equipment, ability to work alone and with a team.· Others: Problem solving skills, detail oriented leadership and communication skills.
