JOB DESCRIPTION

Industrial Engineer

This position will work on a broad range of projects to support the tactical and strategic goals of  a Wafer Fab  including:
-  Maintaining and enhancing Factory Capacity Model using time studies and analytical tools
-  Determining manufacturing goals based on capacity model and forecasted demand
-  Performing “what-if” analysis for strategic planning
-  Creating recommendation for capital purchases based on demand forecasts
-  Participating in equipment layout decisions
-  Developing and implementing an advanced material dispatch system
-  Leading cross-functional team to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness of constraint equipment
-  Participating in Kaizan events (six-sigma black belt training preferred)

Experience Required:

Thorough knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts, practices and principles
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Theory of Constraints
Outstanding communication skills (verbal, interpersonal and written)
Experience with Total Productive Maintenance
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to use software models to evaluate problems and implement solutions
Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented
Must be able to operate in a fast-paced operations environment and manage several projects simultaneously
Must possess the ability to lead, manage and communicate with all levels of employees in a team environment
Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Five or more years experience in Industrial Engineering (Semiconductor experience preferred)

Education Required:

Bachelors of Science or Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
