The
Role

The Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ Chicago (Morris),
Illinois sale site immediate opening for full time Yard Worker (Proofer).
In this role you will be verifying the make, model and description of equipment
in preparation for the sale of the equipment.

The
Requirements

·        Prior knowledge of all types of heavy equipment
and trucks would be preferred but may be substituted for a demonstrated
eagerness and aptitude to learn.

·        A proven track record of working safely and
contributing to a safe workplace.

  Excellent communication skills - must be able to
  relate to customers and team members really well.

For this job
you will be required to:

·        Climb on and off large equipment and trucks
- this is an active job. 

·        Work both indoors and outdoors year-round,
sometimes in extreme heat and cold.

·        Work mandatory overtime hours, including
weekends, in the weeks surrounding each sale.

·        Travel to other Ritchie Bros.’ sale sites,
from time to time.
