INDUSTRIAL JOURNEYMAN MECHANIC

 

Catalyst Paper (Snowflake) Inc. is seeking an Industrial Journeyman Mechanic for its mill located in the scenic White Mountains of Arizona. 

 

The qualified candidate must have successfully completed a four year apprenticeship or equivalent training program and have 2+ years of industrial experience, tehnical degree is a plus.  Candidate must possess a strong safety attitude, be highly motivated to learn new systems and be willing to work rotating shifts.

 

Principle duties include but are not limited to installing, altering, maintaining, overhauling, analyzing and repairing mechanical systems, machines, controls and equipment.  Duties also include rotating equipment inspections and rebuilds, processing piping and steam systems, basic mechanical repairs and laser alignments as well as ARC and TIG welding.
