Industrial Maintenance Technician
Qualified applicants will be highly-motivated, detail-orientated, reliable, self-starters requiring minimal supervision, have at least five years related experience or equivalent education and possess the following skills Required Skills: Clearly and accurately document: work orders, problems, troubleshooting processes, equipment conditions, purchasing requests, inventory updates. Type 25+wpm, strong mechanical and electrial aptitudes. Applicant must be able to troubleshoot and repair: 3-phase, 230VAC and 480VAC circuits: circuit protection, motor starters, AC and DC drives, servos. Low voltage control circuits: PLC I/), proximity switches, photo-eyes, capacitive sensors, conductivity sensors, mechanical and solid state relays, encoders, transducers. Pneumatic systems: conpressors, valves, actuators, switches. Steam systems: boilers, valves, traps, heat exchangers-plate, tube-in-tube, shell and tube. Chilled water systems: chillers and heat exchangers. Pumps: centrifugal, peristaltic, diaphragm, lobe, gear. Analog controls: 4..20ma, 0-10V, including calibration. Device-Level Networks: EthernetIP, DeviceNet, Remote I/O, RS-485. A wide variety of mechanical systems: conveyors, case erectors, case packers, forklifts. Applicant must be able to use: Electrical test meters, P&ID, mechanical, eletrical and pneumatic drawings, Internet and phone-based technical support services. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer. Beneficial Skills: Read/troubleshoot/modify PLC programs: Ladder, Structured Text, Sequential Function Chart, Funtion Block Diagram. Hydraulics systems: pumps, valves, actuators. Experience using CMMS software, experience in a food processing/manufacturing facility.
