Job Description:
The Information Security Analyst is responsible for information technology security controls design, review, and consultation for groups within and outside the IT organization. The position provides technical assistance with the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of a variety of information security systems such as firewalls, proxies, virtual private networks (VPN), vulnerability management, remote access, intrusion prevention, and event management. Additionally, the position will lead information security projects, and assist in developing enterprise security strategies.
Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree required.
Specific technical skills required:
· Advanced knowledge in networking, databases, systems and/or Web operations
· SANS GIAC preferred, CISSP or CISA beneficial
Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain U.S. government security clearance.
