RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifies, documents and recommends opportunities for process improvements.
Performs analysis on departmental requests; documents financial impact, prioritizes and reviews with manager.
Designs, tests and implements applications required for company-wide use. Provides initial training on new systems and on-going support for existing systems. Documents application use and provides pas part of the help system.
Responsible for project planning and management by developing project plans, identifying resources required, recruiting appropriate team resources, and communicating to the organization while managing projects.
Corrects application-related problems in a timely manner. Updates applications, documents modifications, processes change and provide as part of the help system.
Identifies database table design and applications developed. Analyzes and documents the system wide impact of the data.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree.
Exceptional computer skills and three or more years of experience in software development. - Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio 2005/2008.
C# and the .Net framework including ADO.Net. Object oriented concepts and architecture. - Javascript, XML, Web programming including client/service architecture and Web Services.
- SQL including stored procedures, views and user-defined functions.
- Exposure to Version Control, repository software, C++ and application framework concepts preferred.
