Team Lead/Senior Engineer - Active Directory and Exchange (12-179)

Active Directory and Exchange (ADEX)

·         Responsible for ADEX monitoring of network devices that include ADEX Physical and Virtual Servers (Exchange, Blackberry, Domain Controllers), Tier 3 support for local server issues, monitoring File and Print Servers and identifying escalation points and management of Microsoft SCOM agents

·         Perform Network System related incident management that includes multi-organizational Troubleshooting, Coordination and Remediation Management, developing Trend Analysis, Metrics Reporting, and Root Cause Analysis to identify and document lessons learned within SharePoint, creating Trouble Tickets and Outage Reporting

·         Account management activities include Administrative and Blackberry (BB) account creation and management

·         Perform Tier 2 and Tier 3 operations support for Microsoft Active Directory Services, Blackberry availability, metrics and performance monitoring, broadcast messages and Email Addressing Services

·         Microsoft Exchange responsibilities include Global Messaging Routing, PKI, Email and Blackberry Technical messaging, Email Migration supporting personnel moves, scans and backup and recovery of emails and ADEX Infrastructure

·         Monitor and address issues related to critical servers and perform Patch management

·         Run, monitor and address issues for security reports on Quest reporting functionality utilizing IBM Tivoli (formerly BigFix)

·         Provide Litigation support from other program offices on Archiving and Journaling, eDiscovery, Records Management and email Searches

·         Responsible for Network lifecycle management which include System Accreditation and Contingency planning in accordance with Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process

·         Perform Analysis and provide solutions for complex and emerging issues

·         Provide Institutional and Security Knowledge in support of Operational and Security needs

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field

·         7+ of years Experience

·         Experience with Physical and Virtual Servers (Exchange, Blackberry, Domain Controllers), IBM Tivoli (formerly BigFix), Microsoft SCOM, Microsoft Active Directory Services, Quest Active Roles (QARI, QESSO), Blackberry monitoring tools

·         Must have received 1 of the following Microsoft Certifications within the last 5 years: Microsoft Windows 2008 Server, Microsoft Exchange 2010 Server or Server Virtualization

·         Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust Clearance

·         US Citizen
