Job Description:

• Conduct advanced analysis on Enterprise Network Incidents to identify, assess, and mitigate threats and/or malicious activity. Safeguard the network against unauthorized infiltration, modification, destruction, or disclosure. Research, evaluate, tests, recommend, communicate and implement new security requirements. Implement, enforce, communicate and develop security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware and telecommunications. Provide information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information. Assess procedures, and Network posture and recommend improvements best suited to protect the customers’ infrastructure. Evaluate new signatures for usability on the customers’ network and be able to weigh issues related to Computer Network Defense (CND) threats, as well as enterprise system and network architectures, and relate those to the customers’ current monitoring needs.
  Position is Monday - Friday with a rotating on-call requirement.

Qualifications:

• MS plus 3+ years experience
  or BS plus 5+ years experience
  or AS plus 8+ years experience
  or HS plus 10+ years experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with current CND tools and capabilities, such as other intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  Understanding of modern computer network threats and attacks.
  Ability to weigh complex operational and network defense needs.
  Familiarity with IT systems administration.
  Experience with ArcSight correlation tool.
  Security + and CISSP Certifications a plus.
