IT MANAGER


 


Primary Responsibilities


·     Evaluate, analyze, establish, plan, administer and implement overall policies, goals and objectives for IT.


·     Determine system needs, hardware and software, for overall business systems, departments and users.


·     Establish priorities, system design and implementation to develop and/or modify systems processing.


·     Manage and provide support to end-users and clients.


·     Administrate and negotiate vendor and contract agreements with third party vendors.


·     Provide in-house technical training.


·     Maintain security systems for electronic data and physical office.


·     Maintain, update and implement the company's disaster contingency plan.


·     Keep abreast of IT related issues, regulations and guidelines in the banking industry and modify all IT policies, plans and procedures to meet those regulations and guidelines.


 


Must Have:


·     Minimum of 5 years experience with Novell Netware and 3 years experience with Windows Server 2003 or certification and 2 years experience.


·     Experience with Windows XP


·     Strong analytical and problem solving skills.


·     Strong working knowledge of Database Systems


 


Must be:


·     Very detailed oriented.


·     Very articulate and have strong oral communication and written communication skills.


·     Very knowledgeable with hardware including: laptops, desktops and servers.


 


Desired:


 


·     SQL Server Administration


·     Transact SQL


·     Crystal Reports


·     VB/Access Programming


·     General Knowledge of Accounting


·     Banking Industry FFIEC guidelines, GLBA and Red Flag Policy


 


This position will report directly to the CEO and supervise the Network Administrator/PC Support Specialist.


Some night, weekend and travel required.


 


The selected candidate must be willing to attend training for any of the desired skills they do not presently possess.
