We are looking for an Informix Developer/DBA. This is a permanent position with our client in Northern CO. QUALIFICATIONS: ¿ Bachelor¿s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field ¿ 5+ years software engineering/development/database experience ¿ 3+ years experience with C programming in database environment (Informix 4GL and ESQL-C preferred) ¿ 2+ years Informix database administration experience ¿ Willingness to travel to other client production facilities (up to 15%) RESPONSIBILITIES: ¿ Design, develop, maintain and support plant and corporate systems used to control manufacturing, warehouse management, shipping and corporate data reporting in AIX / Informix environment ¿ Develop and maintain application software used to run plant automation systems ¿ Provide technical direction for projects throughout the organization ¿ Develop and maintain Informix 4GL and C application software ¿ Develop and support Korn shell scripts used to run multi-billion dollar functions at processing plants that includes controlling scales, scanners, labelers, shipping functions and user terminals. Also includes gathering and analyzing all associated production, inventory and shipping data ¿ Manage internal projects and assist with managing cooperative projects with other teams and departments ¿ Project management could include project and resource planning, timelines, tracking milestones, and managing capital expenditure ¿ After hours support required in an on call rotation ¿ Some weekend project work required To Apply Apply Online Now!
