We have an immediate need for an Informix SQL Data Conversion Specialist.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experience/Skills:
Informix SQL
Stored procedure and 4gl
Database conversion experience
Unix shell scripting experience would be useful Process documentation Court knowledge or direct experience with CORIS would be a plus
Project Description:
Study and understand the data structure and system requirements of the Courts CORIS case management application.
Study and understand the data structure and system methodologies of the Justice Courts legacy case management systems. Courts data is currently split between two systems, and must be consolidated into a single CORIS system.) Design and create Informix tables to mimic the legacy systems data structures (staging tables).
Develop and test the procedures to populate the raw data from the legacy systems into Informix staging tables.
Develop a process to consolidate the data from the two legacy systems into a single set of data.
Identify the appropriate data element correlations between the two legacy systems and the CORIS system.
Identify the appropriate data value mappings between the two legacy systems and the CORIS system.
Using Informix Stored Procedure Language, write, test and document the programs needed to appropriately massage and migrate the data from the two legacy systems data base structure into the court’s CORIS data base structure.
Assist in the execution of the data conversion.
Respond with action plans to post conversion issues that arise.
