Solves problems, performs analysis, researches, and tests functions for systems and networks. Implements, monitors, and operates systems and networks. Recommends and performs system and network upgrades.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Handles basic technical problems via the telephone and resolves first line customer issues
  • iPhone/iPad deployments
  • Support for video conferencing
  • Moves, Adds, Changes to AIM user base
  • Providing day-to-day, and on-call support for AIM's Telephony platform
  • Moves, Adds, Changes to AIM user base
  • Creating documentation of activities, system changes, procedures, policies and standards
  • Assisting vendor teams to effectively perform tasks in the AIM environments
  • Support for contact center Reporting and Analysis
The successful candidate will have:
  • Associate's degree or recognized trade certification or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of personal computers, computer networking, telecommunications or configuration management troubleshooting
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment while interfacing with multiple internal clients
  • Understanding of basic telecom technologies
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills required.
Desirable Skills:
  • 1-3 years customer service experience preferred. Understanding and use of Service Desk tools preferred
  • 1+ years experience administering Avaya systems in a medium to large contact center
  • Understanding of Carrier Management (SIP/PRI/POTS)
  • Video Conferencing
  • VMWare
  • Red Hat Linux
  • Windows Server
  • Experience with Vormetric, or other encryption technologies.
