Job Description:
The Inside Sales Associate position will be responsible for growing or maintaining our clients business. This will be accomplished primarily by handling inbound sales calls from existing clients and evaluating offerings to cross-sell or up-sell additional product offerings to enhance the customer experience. Our agents will also be responsible for providing efficient, courteous, “world-class" customer service experience at all times.
Essential Functions
1. Generate new customer sales via qualified, inbound calls
2. Respond to customer inquiries regarding service, product offerings, billing, equipment, features, activations and/or changes to account information
3. Solicit cross-selling opportunities from existing customers
4. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and ensure ongoing satisfaction and customer retention
5. Identify and overcome buying obstacles
6. Drive growth by meeting sales goals and objectives as established by the management team
7. Strives to resolve customer issues on the first call and log information related to those calls
8. Follows escalation procedures as needed
9. Researches and resolves disputes and problems within established guidelines
10. May pro-actively manage end-to-end completion of billing issues from receipt to resolution
11. Completes, processes and maintains applicable paperwork and records
12. Exceed all company and client driven metrics for sales revenue, save percentage, quality, compliance, and service level
Job Requirements
Inside Sales Associates must possess excellent verbal presentation and communications techniques, display a rigorous work ethic and thrive in a dynamic environment.
§ Requires 6+ months customer service and sales experience such as retail or telesales
§ Proven aptitude and knowledge of sales techniques and customer retention capabilities
§ Experience in sales/call center/customer service environments
§ Demonstrated creative and independent thinking skills
§ Support flexible with hours and work overtime, as needed
§ Excellent computer skills a must
§ Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance required
§ Self-motivated and eager to grow and expand knowledge in success
§ Unyielding personal values and ethics
§ Handles rejection well
§ Quick thinker, likes challenges, is goal oriented, ambitious, determined and self confident
