Responsibilities – This position will assume overall responsibility for the activities of the Inside Sales Department and the Customer Service Department, working with the Regional Sales Managers to establish and reach goals. The Inside Sales Coordinator will act as liaison between the Customer Service and Inside Sales departments and upper management. This position will report to the Vice President Sales.
TASKS
· Oversee, manage, and support the activities of the Inside Sales Representatives and Customer Service Representatives, including work efficiencies, meeting deadlines, and periodic reporting to upper management relating to these areas.
· Coordinate the scheduling of full time employees within the Customer Service and Inside Sales departments, and evaluate paid time off requests for validity and coverage.
· Assure timely performance of the Inside Sales department and the Customer Service department, relating to daily and periodic tasks required of each.
· Coordinate sales goals and activities with Regional Sales Managers. Track and report to the Regional Sales Managers.
· Assume responsibility of specific events related to escalated customer dissatisfaction, offering an acceptable solution to the customer and communicating as such with the appropriate Regional Sales Manager for that customer
· Assure customer orders are processed timely and efficiently
· Oversee backorder processing
· Manage the creation and processing of sales quotations as requested from the Sales team
· Periodic reporting which may include:
o Phone Call Log
o Customer Calling Queue
o Warranty Service Log
o Service Trackers
o And any other pertinent reporting that may be developed from time to time
· Take first level action to offer improvements in performance vs. standards for both the Customer Service and the Inside Sales departments relating to the reports listed above.
· Communicate with the Vice President Sales for continued lack of improvement where such improvement has been identified specific to any one individual
· And all other tasks as requested from Halco Lighting Technologies for the good of the Company
Skillset – The ability to manage a department of 10 or more people is required. Successful handling of personnel and performance issues will provide the foundation of an effective coordinator. Handling stressful situations with a calm head and insightfulness will contribute to the success of this position. Good communications skills a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including PPT, required. A keen sense of superior customer service with a focus on sales will push the potential candidate to the front of the line.
Experience – The successful candidate will have at least five years’ experience managing a team to effectively provide superior customer service and proven track record of increased sales. Coaching team members to continually improve sales and customer service performance will create success. Candidates without prior Inside Sales management experience will NOT be considered.
Education – BSBA degree in Business preferred.
