The Inside Sales Manager will lead the daily activities of the Inside Sales Organization. The individual will have a proven track record of planning, executing, measuring, and refining effective programs that support the demand generation goals of the sales and marketing organizations. The individual will manage coach and support the activities of the Inside Sales representatives and will also be responsible for hitting specific activity metrics and performance targets. This individual will work closely with the marketing program managers to support specific lead generation initiatives, and will ensure that program goals are effectively translated into telemarketing campaigns that achieve goals.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Proven track record of being able to reach C-level executives, generate interest, and set up follow up appointments for account executives
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Ability to plan daily and weekly activities for an inside sales team, monitor performance, and measure results
- Ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork/collaboration, motivation, and staff development skills
- Ability to coach and develop action plans to maximize performance and provide effective feedback when necessary
- Innovative mindset to help analyze and improve work processes
- Monitor data capture and use of reporting tools to track performance, while providing accurate and timely management reports on team metrics
- Flexibility to respond to business conditions as they arise. Cool under pressure
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Self-starter, who can get up to speed quickly
- Experience using Salesforce.com is a plus
Education Requirements:
- Technology/Enterprise Software background (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of direct experience as an inside sales representative, with at least 2 years of management experience also required.
