Inside Sales Manager

New ownership of well established media company seeks experienced Inside Sales Manager.  Media company is located in a beautiful New England town with great quality of life, good school systems, and many recreational opportunities.  Successful candidate will be esponsible for building, managing and coordinating the telesales activities of the inside sales team, including forecasting, developing business plans, territory assignment and developing plans for reps.  Will staff, coach, train and develop all sales reps for Inside Sales.  Assigned sales team includes retail, classified and employment representatives. 

• Motivate and coach reps to achieve activity, productivity and effectiveness necessary to achieve sales goals. 
  
• Develop outbound and inbound sales programs to improve upsell and close rate of inbound sales activity.
  
• Provide leadership and incentives to create a work environment where the Inside Sales team is a positive, motivated organization achieving its assigned sales goals.

Newspaper experience is required, preferably in all aspects of advertising sales including classified, retail and special sections.  Experience of working through a system conversion a big plus.  Need strong sense of urgency and the ability to move quickly while retaining accuracy.
