Plasma-Therm is currently in need of an experienced: Inside Sales Manager (ISM)
SUMMARY: The ISM supports the outside sales organization by gathering, compiling and transmitting information and documentation to the field as required from inquiry through PO package generation including system configuration confirmation (CCD). Each ISM will be responsible for defined territory revenue and contributed margin through the sale of new and refurbished systems. The ISM is the primary contact inside the PT factory for the assigned sales organization, and will field all incoming e-mails and telephone requests for product information requested to secure systems purchase orders.
Duties: Some of the duties are (but not limited to):
· In conjunction with the Field Sales Engineer, gathers customer requirements data for sales leads, and ensures their completeness.
· Work with the Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to evaluate customer requirements against the Company’s capabilities to identify discrepancies.
· Secure in-house technical resources to assess the feasibility of compliance with discrepant requirements.
· Work with the PMM, engineering and the process group to determine an estimate for the scope of effort and cost to achieve compliance with customer requirements.
· Manage and deliver a system configuration that meets the customer’s performance requirements for product costing and determination of the product realization path.
· Generate system quotations for sales opportunities in accordance with approved pricing guidelines.
· Assist in the preparation of marketing promotional material and compile the necessary material to be transmitted to the field in conjunction with system quotations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related field, and
· At least two years of work experience in the job offered or related field of semiconductor or capital equipment manufacturing.
· MBA preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, technical journals and papers, and other related material.
· Ability to communicate effectively interdepartmentally and externally with customers and the outside sales organization.
· Ability to develop and track sales cycle activities (forecasting).
· Complex technical capital equipment knowledge. Semiconductor manufacturing equipment knowledge preferred.
· Be able to demonstrate superior Customer skills. (20% travel estimated)
· Must have working knowledge of current required computer skills used in a networked office environment.
· Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
