The Personal Systems Group (PSG) of HP is currently seeking an Inside Sales Manager, to direct a team of inside sales representatives in the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho call center. Recognized as an expert in your technology area, you'll be changing the ways in which companies work, not just selling a product.
Engaged in both new business and existing accounts, you'll define and implement sales strategies and plans that will outperform quota and deliver net profit. Integrated with the local sales team and liaising with marketing, manufacturing and service specialists, and selling across the HP product portfolio, you'll ensure that we deliver the best in class solutions for our customers.
People Development
- Assist management to ensure that the Contact Center is a positive environment for employees to work, to grow and to make a difference.
- Assess and manage employee performance to ensure individual and group excellence.
- Perform quality coaching and mentoring to generate inside selling activity, maintain customer relationships, develop new business opportunities and increase market share, including a high level of support in the pursuit and closing of deals.
- Ensure employee awareness as it relates to business initiatives and business processes.
- Complete timely employee quality reviews and development plans.
People Management/Leadership Factors

Business Operations
- Confirm that employee operational tasks are current and complaint.
- Effectively manage the implementation of the Sales Center business processes and monitor that the reps maintain integrity with all support tools.
- Consistent communications with colleagues in our counterpart Sales Centers to refine existing processes and share best practices.
- Integrate and monitor the environmental, health, safety and security initiative into business management processes and procedures.
- Works strategically with customer and or strategic partners within a defined account assignment or territory
- Maintains current knowledge of industry, competitive research and information, and an understanding of the client's business challenges and industry trends and markets in order to position and map HP capabilities that align to client business objectives and initiatives.
- Builds targeted business plans, collaborates within HP and with the field to prioritize, facilitate and direct use of resources.
- Accurately portrays forecasts and communicates sales progress.
- Provides direction and expertise to departmental teams and participates in cross departmental initiatives.
- Assist sales teams in customizing solutions based on client needs. Contributes to enduring executive relationships at the highest levels of the client's organization and establishes professional relationships and credibility with key IT and business executives in support of other established relationships with the client.
Your Profile
Qualifications and Position Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent desired
3-5 years experience managing a team of direct reports.
Sound knowledge of IT sales.
Demonstrated level of project management skills.
Sales Management experience a plus including demonstrated success in achieving progressively higher quota or other sales related goals, including a thorough knowledge of the following:
- Sales Pipeline Management
- Forecasting
- Change Management
- Prospecting
- Closing Sales
- Successful sales track record as part of a high-performance team sales environment/model, utilizing and integrating well with other members of the sales team
