Job Description:
Summary: Provide inside sales function for recruiting new Authorized Dealers and growing existing Authorized Dealers. Assist in identifying new dealer opportunities; execute sales strategies for building long term dealer relationships and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction. Call on specific assigned dealers and communicate on weekly, monthly, quarterly basis.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Recruit new Authorized Dealers by following up on leads through trade shows and phone inquiries. 2. Perform cold calling functions to security industry businesses using approved scripts. 3. Start Due Diligence process of pre-qualification, reviewing application, and preparing pending Authorized Dealer for licensing or ADT required information. 4. Introduce growth strategies for existing Authorized Dealers as defined by Regional Director by increasing units and RPU. 5. Follow the growth and track progress of increase growth for existing Authorized Dealers. 6. Provide updates in Authorized Dealer guidelines or policies. 7. Work with existing dealers on expansion of territories. 8. Achieve and expand monthly/annual revenue goals and submit accurate individual sales forecasts. 9. Build positive long term relationships with Authorized Dealers through telephone and/or electronic communications. 10. Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by management. 11. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Requirements: Education: Two year associate degree or equivalent work experience
Experience: Two to three years experience in working in an Authorized Dealer program required. At least six months Informix experience required. At least one year Inside Sales experience preferred.
Skills: Intermediate MS Office skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Entrepreneurial attitude, leadership ability and ability to be a team player at all levels. Ability to understand and contribute to the development of a business plan, including sales and marketing strategies.
