Summary: 

Inside sales, commissioned position selling specialty technology products, software and total solutions in a call center environment. Prospect for new customers and business opportunities and respond to incoming sales calls in order to engage in consultative selling.

Essential Job Duties: 

• Prospect for new customers.


• Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, both short and long-term.


• Respond to incoming sales calls.


• Determine technical and business requirements through effective questioning.


• Engage in consultative relationships with customers and prospects.


• Make appropriate solution recommendations and presentations.


• Provide sales quotes and place orders accurately and efficiently in computer system.


• Manage accounts and leads.


• Assist customers with problem resolution.


• Sales and gross profit goals achieved.


• Customer feedback is positive.


• New customers developed.


• Teamwork is demonstrated.


• Tools and techniques utilized.

Reporting Relationships: 

• Reports to Manager, Sales.


• Interacts with vendors, resellers, internal and external customers.
  
  

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or sales-related experience.


• Computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.


• Communications skills.


• Negotiation skills.

• Multi-tasking.


• Technical or mechanical aptitude.


• Numerical reasoning.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time.


• Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for this position.


• Ability to travel 0 – 10 % of the time.


• Ability to lift 10 pounds.
