As a Security Solutions Inside Sales Representative, you are commissioned to become a product expert.  Assessing the needs of our internal and external customers is our model.  Security Solutions has a diverse customer base that would necessitate providing a variety of services - therefore, requiring a flexible persona.  This is definitely an opportunity for someone with a servitude character.


 


The Security business is a high priority within the Honeywell portfolio. The Security business focuses on electronic security technologies - digital video, access control, and alarm products. We built a state-of-the-art Service Center in Louisville, KY to handle the customer support function for the Security business.  Honeywell Systems Group is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our service center staff in Inside Sales. 


 


The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and contacting potential Video and Access customers and supporting existing customers in order to achieve sales targets.  The following activities are expected to be performed on a daily basis:


 


  • Sales of Honeywell Video and Access products

  • Lead management and follow-up

  • Providing information to potential and existing customers in order to help them make the best product choices for the specific application(s)

  • Informing customers of promotions and specials

  • Updating and managing customer database

  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure the customer is taken care of promptly and professionally

  • Responding to incoming calls regarding to product and sales inquiries

  • Communicating regularly with customers to ensure continued satisfaction and promote long-term relationships

  • Fostering strong relationships with ADI branches

Basic Qualifications


 


High School diploma or GED


Minimum of 5 years electronics inside sales experience


 


Additional Qualifications


 


Demonstrated selling skills


Strong Pre- and post-sales telephone support


Basic Math Skills


Ability to understand moderately complex video systems


Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment


Excellent time management skills


Excellent communication skills


High degree of self-motivation


Ability to work in a team environment


Five plus years experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
