JOB DESCRIPTION
Inside Sales Representative II
The APCON Inside Sales Representative II will be responsible for generating qualified sales leads for Regional Sales Managers in an assigned geographic territory. The Sales Rep will also provide quote generation while updating and maintaining the company customer relationship management tool.
Responsibilities:
- Generates and develops qualified leads within target market via research and cold calls.
- Makes outbound follow-up calls to potential and existing customers to qualify leads and schedule product
- demonstrations.
- Manages inbound sales inquiries to convert calls into qualified interest, as required by Regional Sales Managers.
- Works with Inside Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers to identify targeted customer base to call
- upon.
- Tracks all inside sales activity relating to new customer prospect generation and related sales data into the
- CRM database.
- Achieves specific quarterly call and lead /appointment setting metrics.
- Successfully creates orders with existing customers for service contracts.
- Assists with sales quote generation and evaluation agreements as needed to support Regional Ssales Managers.
Education and/or Experience:
- 2+ years’ sales experience selling large ticket products in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be an independent, self-starter with a "hunter" mentality and able to perform in a results-
oriented environment. - Experience prospecting and securing new accounts via outbound activities.
- Ability to navigate Fortune 1000 enterprises to find key contacts and motivate decision makers to
- use and/or find out more about APCON solutions.
- Ability to pick up and use in-house CRM and Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
