Job Description:

Merial is a worldwide leader in Animal Health Pharmaceuticals, with over $2 billion in annual sales.

The Inside Sales Representative position is considered to be the preparatory position for entry into Merial’s Companion Animal field sales organization. The sales representative is expected to perform his/her responsibilities in a program that consists of extensive training and development while promoting the portfolio of Merial products.

Anticipated time in this position is anything between 1 to 2 years before progressing to a field based Sales Representative role, therefore the ability to relocate is highly desirable.

In addition to extensive internal corporate training, the sales representative may be asked to participate in several temporary field based assignments. Each assignment would last between 2-3 months so the ability to travel is a must. The Inside Sales Representative will generate sales, market share and profitability results for the duration of the assignment.

The key measurement for success in this position is the accomplishment of individual and team sales objectives, training objectives and the attainment of Merial’s overall business performance.
