Sysco Guest Supply LLC, is the leading national full-service provider of housekeeping supplies to the Hotel lodging industry, with over 25,000 hotel customers nationwide. With 17 distribution centers strategically located around the US and with 200 sales employees, Guest is the single-source solution for the lodging industry. Guest owns and operates its own distribution centers. Guest also has international facilities in Canada, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.

Sales of Hotel operation supplies include: personal care amenities, housekeeping, cleaning & maintenance supplies, furniture, appliances and textile products (towels, linens).

      Job Summary:

The inside sales representatives are responsible for generating revenue for Sysco Guest Supply, LLC. by developing strong relationships with hoteliers who make purchasing decisions.  They will be responsible for making timely contact to achieve their customer and GSI goals while using all of our sales and marketing tools to succeed. 

       Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Two years sales experience, preferably in the distribution or hospitality industry
  • Strong computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Knowledge of the order entry process and account management programs
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good keyboarding skills
  • Very strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proven skills in multiple project management in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Able to meet critical deadlines while applying strong time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

      Essential Functions:

  • Sell and provide customer service to existing customer base
  • Acquire new customers
  • Achieve GSI sales and gross margin goals through new and existing business
  • Daily presentations to at least 25 customers
  • Prepare quotes and negotiate profitable sales
  • Accountable for maintaining critical information in multiple software programs that reflect the tracking of customer activity
  • Effectively maintain receivables
  • Solve problems and recommend solutions to meet customer and GSI needs
  • Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with managers and associates
