Responsibilities – This position will assume responsibility for the sales of all customers, both existing and potential, within the defined channels and defined territories. This position will be primarily responsible for the management, maintenance, quotation, and service of these customers. This position reports to the Customer Service Coordinator – Atlanta with dotted line reporting to Office Manager – PHX and Western Regional Sales Manager . This position will reside in Halco’s office in Chandler, AZ.
TASKS
· Handle incoming calls from customers relating to sales and service of Halco Lighting products.
· Process customer requests for item quotations, specifications, marketing materials, and other product support.
· Process customer requests related to order placement, order expediting, order maintenance, and other ordering support
· A Significant amount of time will be spent to investigate new prospective customers within the defined channels and territories.
· Place speculative calls to the decision makers within those customers for new business
· Present Halco Lighting Technologies and its benefits and capabilities to customers, both existing and potential
· Process customer service related requests from customers, such as product returns, defective product, back orders, and stock outs
· Assist Office Manager – PHX in opening and closing of warehouse and office, handle and process incoming calls from other Halco customers, assume temporary responsibility for office in Office Manager – PHX absence, and assist in order processing for warehouse personnel as needed.
Skillset – This position will require a candidate to have a personality commonly associated with successful sales professionals. Outgoing, gregarious, yet professional and assertive attributes will contribute to the success of this position. Good communications skills a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including PPT, required. Good math aptitude required. A keen sense of superior customer service will push the potential candidate to the front of the line.
Experience – The successful candidate will have at least one year’s experience in business to business. Documented success in sales to equipment distributors, particularly electrical, will weigh heavily on the decision making process.
Education – BSBA degree in Business preferred, but not necessary.
