Position Description:

The Inside Sales Representative is part of a growing sales team focusing primarily on inside sales of hosting and application management, including all aspects of sales leads to demand generation by qualifying, proposing and influencing prospects.  The nature of selling outsourcing services is very a consultative process. It is critical that a inside sales representative have top notch selling and personable skills to identify potential client prospects business needs, while building a trusting client relationship.  This position is critical to the business growth of OneNeck IT Services. This position compensation is a market competitive base salary and commission plan with no travel required.

 

Skills Necessary:
•Develop solid client relationships with assigned customer base. Proactively contacts their customer base to assess customer loyalty and sales opportunities.

•Contact cold prospective customers by telephone to obtain appointments for Account Executive(s). Prequalify leads for their assigned Account Executive(s).

•Maintains understanding of market conditions, competitor services, and intenal knowledge of services; using this knowledge to position OneNeck services in a favorable manner by educating and movtivating prospective clients

•Report customer interests and needs to regional area management

•Excellent account development throughout the prospecting and lead generation process via inside sales

•Knowledge of ERP applications and understanding of market conditions and competitor services

•Proven track record in achieving sales goals within an inside sales environment

•Forecasting and planning to achieve sales goals, and maintaining a level of metrics to meet activity goals (call volume and email)

•Usage of CRM for maintaining records of contacts, accounts, leads, opportunities, updating, and report generation

•Experience in lead generation activities as required including attending trade shows and following up on direct marketing activities

•Experienced in Marketing / Lead Generation activities as required including attending trade shows, and following up on direct marketing activities.

•Stay current on industry trends, along with new products and services.

•Implement projects as assigned by the Lead Inside Sales Representative and or Director of Sales.

 

Education:

Four year degree or equivalent in a related discipline (e.g., information technology, computer science, business, engineering).    

 

Years of Related Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in an IT inside sales position preferred at a managed services/outsourcing organization or similar selling environment to senior management of potential clients. Experience should include broad knowledge of sales, applications hosting/managed services, information systems, including application software, hardware, database and network configuration
