Member Sales Representative (MSR)
The primary role of the Member Sales Representative is to retain members through the use of an engaged sales model. The engaged sales model, is driven by the MSR effectively listening and responding to member needs and responding to those needs in a way that builds value around CPP’s programs. Success is measured by attaining a minimum retention standard. The retention of members drives increased revenue for the organization thus making the success of retention efforts a critical task. MSRs must operate in a high-paced call center environment which demands a high level of quality, efficiency and computer skills.
MSRs answer incoming calls from members for a wide variety of programs and clients. All calls must be handled in a professional manner following the engaged sales model. Each MSR is responsible for meeting the established minimum retention standard.
Meetings will be held weekly to ensure progress and optimum performance for the following:
- Meeting 90% Compliance for call quality. MSR calls are monitored and scored against set criteria. These criteria represent areas required by the organization, legal and clients.
- Achieve productivity standard, including average handle time, average talk time, after call work, hold time.
- Achieve schedule adherence requirements for adhering to the scheduled shift (arrival, breaks and departures). Must meet the established schedule adherence departmental standards.
- Achieve non–productive time requirements for the percentage of “work time" in Aux. Must meet the established departmental standards for non-productive time.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in Sales, especially Call Center Sales and/or Member Retention.
- Must be able to consistently handle calls from irritated members in a businesslike manner.
- Must demonstrate flexibility in schedule and be able to make adjustments according to business needs.
- Must be Proactive and Creative in seeking out opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Must have strong w verbal communication skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Must have strong computer skills.
We are looking for 8 resilient individuals to work as full-time Member Sales Representatives in our inbound call center in St. Louis Park, starting on November 16th. Bi-lingual in Spanish/English preferred but not required.
- $12/hr + sales incentive + $1/hr bi-lingual differential and $1/hr shift differential for 2nd/weekend (if applicable)

Schedule:
- During the first week of training: 9:30am-6pm (M-F)
- Regular Schedules are varied but include Saturday. Candidates must be free to work 1st and 2nd. Call center closed on Sunday.
