Inside Sales Representative / Telesales Representative

CareersUSA, a leader in staffing and HR software technology for Time and Attendance has an immediate opening for a Inside Sales Representative / Telesales Representative to work in our Boca Raton, FL, headquarters.

Job Summary:

The position is responsible for making outbound telephone calls to a list of potential users to generate leads and sales.  The individual will possess strong outbound telephone skills and experience following scripts.  The right candidate will have extensive skills working with difficult people.  As he or she will be the first impression many potential customers will have, the candidate must be polite, patient and professional on all calls.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cold call prospects from a list and verifies that contact is in charge where Time and Attendance software might be needed
• Qualifies prospect for next step in the sales process
• Engages prospects in discussion by using open ended questions
• Sets meetings for outside sales
• Updates data and information in the sales database
• Produces statistical reports for management review
• Assists Sales and Marketing with email, direct mail, and other campaigns

Skills and Abilities:

• 1 - 2 years experience in inside telephone sales
• Successful experience with cold calling
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Positive attitude, patience and persistence are highly desirable characteristics
• Aggressive self-starter

Education or Experience:

• Basic computer and data entry skills are required. MS office proficiency is desirable
• High school diploma or equivalent
