Under general supervision of the Vice-President of First Veterinary Supply, the Veterinary Inside Sales Representative (Vet ISR) drives business by selling veterinary products to veterinary practices and clinics via phone. Vet ISRs employ and execute a variety of sales techniques and campaigns, all while providing superior customer service.  The Vet ISR builds partnerships with customers as they become their preferred source for all the customer’s needs. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     Conducting outbound sales calls to targeted groups of customers with the objective(s) of new account acquisition; existing account expansion; and existing account retention.

2.     Solicit competitive intelligence information from customers.

3.     Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with an assigned group of customer accounts.

4.     Contribute to overall development and continuous improvement of the Veterinary Inside Sales function.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

1.     Requires a minimum of three years in business-to-business sales, (prefer inside sales/telesales and/or extensive knowledge of the veterinary or pharmaceutical industry.

2.     Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic or practice, LVT or Vet Technician experience preferred.

3.     Four year college degree preferred, two year degree will be considered.
