ASK Staffing is searching for an Inspector xperienced in the use of inspection gages/instruments which include (grade C requirements) the following: Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Nital Etch, GD&T, Gear Charts, and CMM interpretation.   Experience with Incoming Inspection documents/protocols.  Broad knowledge of blueprints and ISO Standards.  Works directly with or under the supervision of senior inspectors.  May be required to oversee quality and workmanship of fellow team members.   May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

DUTIES :

Essential Job Functions:

1. Inspect all incoming material, parts and purchased parts as well as in-process and final inspection as required.

2. Reads and understands drawings, process specifications, procedures, work instructions, inspection documentation and certificates, in metric measurement units.

3. Uses precision measuring equipment as well as specialized inspection and testing equipment.

4. Prepares and maintains clear inspection documentation for the above functions.

5. Can analyze the results of surface temper (Nital) etch testing.

6. Can analyze the results of gear charts/graphs.

7. Can analyze/interpret CMM data.

8.  GD&T knowledge/experience.

9.  Ultrasonic Testing knowledge/experience

10. Magnetic Particle Inspection knowledge/experience

11. Other duties as assigned.

Marginal Job Functions:

1. Assists in the tracking and filing of inspection documentation.

2. Overhead Crane Operating

3. Fork Lift Truck Driving

4. Removal of dumpster as needed

Required Experience:

Experience as inspector or machinist - 4 years

Use of precision measuring equipment - 4 years

Blueprint reading - 4 years

Knowledge of metric measurement and tolerance system - 4 years

Knowledge UT, MPI, GD&T Gear charts, and CMM inspection parameters - 4 years

Knowledge of Quality Assurance methods and practices - 4 years

Shop Mathematics - 4 years
