ASK Staffing is searching for an Second (2nd) shift inspector for our customer in the Elgin, IL area.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION (Purpose of Job):

To test and inspect incoming parts and finished assemblies

per drawings, specifications, documentation, and other as required

DUTIES :

Essential Job Functions:

1. Inspect all incoming material, parts and purchased parts as well as in-process and final inspection as required.

2. Reads and understands drawings, process specifications, procedures, work instructions, inspection documentation and certificates, in imperial or metric units.

3. Uses precision measuring equipment as well as specialized inspection and testing equipment.

4. Can analyze the results of surface temper etch testing.

5. Can analyze the results of gear charts/graphs.

6. Prepares and maintains clear inspection documentation for the above functions.

7. Other Duties As Assigned

Marginal Job Functions:

1. Assists in the tracking and calibration of measurement equipment.

2. Assists in the tracking and filing of inspection documentation.

3. Overhead Crane Operating
