The eScription group within Nuance is currently looking for an Installation Project Manager to perform a broad range of tasks related to the implementation of eScription products at customer sites (medical centers, hospitals, clinics), including managing new and add-on customer implementation projects, providing post-live customer account management, and contributing to the design and improvement of implementation methodology and tools.

  • Act as main point of contact and support for the customer during the entire implementation and rollout of the system to their organization.
  • Work with customer to define project scope and timeline, develop and manage project plan and ensure project stays within agreed upon scope and schedule.
  • Analyze customer requirements to determine optimum workflow and system configuration; provide guidance to the customer on workflow and configuration decisions.
  • Train customer testing resources on the system, and provide support to them during the testing process. 
  • Coordinate eScription resources to ensure necessary project tasks are completed on schedule, within budget and in a high quality manner.
  • Provide account management to customer during first year post-live, including:
    • Scheduling and leading regular communication 
    • Managing executive contact with customer
    • Working with customer to ensure the system is meeting their goals and ROI expectations
    • Managing account-related activities and add-on projects
  • Contribute to department process improvement initiatives; participate in internal company projects to meet company, department and individual goals.

 

  • BS/BA, PM Certification from recognized institution, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Track record of success in project management (healthcare project management preferred)
  • Competent in project management methodology and tools
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
  • Some travel required (approximately 20-25%)
