Institutional Sales Associate

Boston investment management firm is currently seeking a Sales Associate to join their institutional sales team. The individual in this role will act as the internal salesperson for the outside sales team. Will serve as the point of contact for all prospects when necessary, work with each salesperson to manage assigned territory and coordinate with the sales director and marketing team to develop sales ideas and prospecting positions. The Internal Sales Associate will also maintain a recurring request list of requisite follow-up with prospects and platforms, manage annual conference schedule (organize travel etc) and work directly with sales and marketing on RFPs and RFIs. Will be responsible for database maintenance, coordinating website content and the preparation of monthly reports.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience. Should have Series 7 and 63 licenses. Progress towards CFA/MBA is preferred. Must have a strong understanding of the investment markets as well as familiarity with multiple investment vehicles. Strong computer skills are a must; proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills required.
