Instructional Designer/Developer to Develop and Evaluate Curriculum

We are working with our client in locating an Instructional Designer/Developer to develop learning solutions that improve workforce performance and enhance competitiveness. Focus is on supporting instructional design projects development. You will be responsible for the development and evaluation of instructor-led and e-learning curricula. You will identify learning gaps and work with the learning department to develop strategies to close the gaps. You may be required to conduct end-user testing.
Requirements:
B.A. or B.S. with a major in Instructional Technologies, Training and Human Resource Development, Organizational Design/Development or psychology, Business/Technical
3+ years of Instructional Design and curriculum development experience
1--2 years successful project management experience in small to mid-size project
ELearning Instructional Design & Development experience a must
Demonstrated use of eLearning products such as Dreamweaver, Captivate 3, Fireworks or Photoshop, Flash, Action Script preferred, as well as print-based products such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel. MS Project desired
Experience utilizing Learning Management Systems and Learning Content Management Systems
Advanced in development skills; intermediate in analysis, project mgt, evaluation processes
Nice to have: virtual learning and blended solution experience
Work Samples will be requested prior to interview
Must own Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks or Photoshop, and Captivate version 3, a laptop will be provided but will not have the necessary software
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 8 weeks
Location: Walnut Creek, CA. Local candidates only, must be onsite 2-3 days a week.
