Instructional Designer & Training Facilitator

About the Job


We are seeking an Instructional Systems Designer and Training Facilitator to work on-site at a customer location in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Both positions require previous working knowledge of the Intelligence Community's education and training goals and an Active Top Secret Clearance.


Instructional Systems Designer


The Instructional Systems Designer will maintain and upgrade a long term analyst professional development program.


Specific responsibilities shall include:


• Assessing needs of analytical workforce in light of Intelligence Community Directives


• Developing learning objectives and tests or other instruments to measure student achievement


• Organizing course content into logically sequenced curriculum


• Working with subject matter experts and classroom instructors to design and develop instructional materials


• Recommending teaching strategies to instructors


Qualifications


-A current SSBI -Bachelor’s Degree and certification as an ISD.


-At least 4 years of experience in developing, documenting and administering professional development programs.


-Working knowledge of intelligence community’s education and training goals for their analysts.


 


Training Facilitator


The Training Facilitator will establish and maintain an entry-level training program for new analysts.


Specific responsibilities shall include:


• Develop a generic training plan for all new analysts.


• Establish and maintain a new employee lending library.


• Maintain control of unclassified laptop computers for entry-level training.


• Provide training facilitation support (i.e., registration, announcements, progress reports)


Qualifications


-Current SSBI.


-BA and at least 4 years of experience developing, documenting, and delivering professional development programs.


-Demonstrated success designing curricula that addresses a variety of learning styles and student collaboration.


-Experience in using case studies and simulated exercises.


-Outstanding verbal/written communication skills and familiarity with MS Office tools.


-Working knowledge of the Intelligence Community's education and training goals.
