JOB DESCRIPTION:


 


We’re looking for an Instrument Engineer who will:


 



  • Be responsible for the successful deployment of engineering and construction for all projects assigned valued.  Average list between 25 and 30 active projects.

  • TIC on most projects will be between $5,000 and $500,000.

  • Provide leadership of project implementation and attainment of scope, cost and schedule milestones consistent with agreed upon business premises, execution strategies, and technical assurance requirements that delivers industry-leading results

  • Support and contribute to Process Safety initiatives as they pertain to capital investment

  • Proposal development including development of engineering scope of work, budget and schedule

  • Planning/Scheduling of resource requirements for project

  • Coordination of design issues with project team and resolution facilitation of inter-discipline problems

  • Provide support to lead discipline engineers and other team members so they can perform their jobs efficiently

  • Management of engineering budget and ensure profitability

 


 


BACKGROUND:


 


The ideal candidate will have:


 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 3+ Years in project related experience in a Project Engineering capacity

  • The ability to work well with teams, and be capable of building teams with each new project

  • Strong written and oral communications skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, in particular around conflict resolution and relationship building

  • Strong working knowledge of revamp type projects, and integrating associated construction activities with the site's on-going work (turnarounds, maintenance, day-to-day operations, etc.)

  • DCS Hardware Experience

  • Chemical Plant knowledge/ experience is highly preferred

  • ETAP experience is highly preferred
