The Insurance Claims Associate processes claims for commercial and personal lines

Responsiblities include:

Processing claims from opening through to completion

Provide quality service through clear understanding of customer needs

Provide proactive response to customers

Maintain insurance company relations

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

·         3-5 years' agency claims experience

·         Property & Casualty License and Designations a plus

·         Demonstrated knowledge of commercial and personal lines coverage

·         Proven customer service skills

·         Proficient in Sagitta agency management system preferred

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

·         Excellent communication skills both written and oral

·         Must be well organized, detail oriented, a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment

·         Excellent analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills

Education:  Associates Degree preferred
