Insurance Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

·         Sell, service and retain contracts of insurance exclusively for Church Mutual in a territory that encompasses the Akron, Ohio area

·         Develop a balanced personal plan for prospecting, selling and service work

·         Identify and call on prospective clients

·         Maintain and provide sales and activity reports to Division Manager

·         Respond to, investigate, and provide response to customer inquiries with support from the Customer Service team

Qualifications:

·         Successful sales experience, to include prospecting, cold calling and closing

·         Insurance background preferred but not required

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred

·         Computer literacy

·         High energy level

·         Willingness to travel, with occasional overnight stays

·         Ability to work independently and meet sales goals – performance will be measured against assigned sales objectives and business retention
