We are seeking an Integration & Deployment Coordinator for a full time permanent position with our client in Franklin Park, IL.  This position will ensure that web applications are deployed in a timely and consistent manner across environments; ensure quality and avoid conflicts and defects; develop software/systems testing procedures and conducts tests.

Responsibilities

·         Coordinate merging of features and bug fixes into applications

·         Work with Project Coordinator to prioritize and plan environment deployment and maintenance

·         Support pre-production & production environment builds & maintenance

·         Participate in establishing software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance

·         Develop and implement software/systems testing standards and procedures and conduct tests

·         Document and analyze test results, and make recommendations to improve overall quality

·         Provide maintenance and technical support activities associated to the operations of pre-production environments (development, QA test, workflow integration, UAT, training, and staging/production support)

·         Prepare and maintain environment related build documentation

·         Install and configure systems, application and monitoring software and maintain existing configuration files

Technical Requirements

·         BS/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent

·         Experience in distributed application development

·         Experience in Agile methodology

·         Knowledge of enterprise level, distributed SCM; Knowledge of AccuRev a plus

·         Knowledge of Ruby on Rails

·         Knowledge and experience using automated test tools

·         Familiarity with concepts of web-based software applications

·         Experience with test procedure development, maintenance, and execution

·         Experience writing functional and unit tests

·         Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into precise test cases

·         Ability to write clear, concise and effective correspondence, test plans, procedures and scenarios in accordance with policies
