RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilize interactive technology to accomplish in-house client objectives under the supervision of the Interactive Director.  Clients include Ryobi Power Tools, Ridgid Power Tools, Homelite Outdoor Power Equipment, and more.
• Work with Interactive Director, Marketing Managers (client), and Interactive Account Coordinator to create screen-based media including web sites, micro sites, banners, emails, etc.
• Accurately plan and estimate your responsible portions of projects.
• Constantly be on the lookout for new ideas, design techniques, technology applications, process improvements, etc. for the betterment of the team's work quality and productivity.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Design (BS/BA/BFA) or technical degree with less than 2 years experience working in design field.
• A strong portfolio of design work.
• Interest in learning XHTML, CSS, Java Script and other basic web technologies.
• Strong proponent of web standards and usability, but doesn't have a problem using Flash when called for.
• Experience in working with content management systems a plus (i.e. Wordpress, Drupal, Expression Engine, etc.)
• Experience with Adobe Photshop required.  Knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash, and hand coding of front-end markup is a plus but not required.
• Good communication skills and a team attitude.
