Current Need

Responsible for planning, developing and implementing HL7 interfaces in the Health Care environment. Duties would consist of working with users and vendors on interface projects, troubleshooting, and maintenance on new and existing interfaces.



Design interface specifications and documentation to support interface installations as well as the daily interface processing.



On Call support is required to assist user and interfaces issues which may occur after hours.

Position Description

Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

a plus to have experince with, eGate interface engine, Monk, JCAPS, JAVA, SQL, XML, TCP/IP, Perl, AIX/Unix scripting, AIX operating system programming. Reflextion X-Term, Net-Work analytical skills and ethernet portocols.

Minimum Requirements

4+ years experience in interface programming in either E-Gate or Cloverleaf.

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
