SMMA is seeking an Interior Designer with 4-6 years experience to join our new North Carolina office. This independent, high-energy, self-motivated position focuses on the firm's corporate and commercial, institutional, and science and technology markets. Must provide strong conceptual and detail oriented design as well as detailing and construction documentation in CAD. Will prepare and produce presentation materials. Candidates must have: Bachelors in Interior Design (FIDER Accredited) or Architecture; CAD skills; Revit skills; PC-based skills (Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook; Adobe: InDesign, PhotoShop; and/or Sketch Up and other 3D modeling programs); Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with a broad range of personalities; Effectiveness at multi-tasking and managing multiple deadlines. NCIDQ a plus. Must have previous experience working in the Chapel Hill, North Carolina area.
