Responsibilities       
 
Fundamentals of Marketing:

• Learn the basic marketing principles that are specific to social networking
• Understand product features
• Learn how we market
• Learn the type of creative we use
• Learn our pricing strategy 

Competitive Research:

• Develop an overview of competitors and their marketing strategies and tactics
• Evaluate the competitive marketing positioning and provide recommendations on how to address their messaging
• Suggest new marketing channels or tactics for existing products 

Help Launch a New Product:

• Attend brainstorming sessions
• Collaborate with Marketing Manager to set priorities and develop a checklist of tasks
• Assist Marketing Manager with the development of campaigns
• Speak to vendor partners about marketing channels to be used
• Learn how SEM (Search Engine Marketing) plays a vital role 

Campaign Analysis

• Analyze campaigns to help determine the most effective rates and volumes to help achieve maximum profitability 

Requirements

• To be eligible for a Mindspark internship, you must be registered as a student in good standing at an accredited college or university and be eligible to earn college credit.  The registration must apply for the full duration of the internship.
• Must be a current undergraduate college student, preferably studying Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications
• Should have good PowerPoint, Excel and other Office Program skills
