Description:
Paramount Pictures is looking for a fall Intern. Our Program offers its own unique learning opportunities. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on the front line, to network and meet with Paramount leaders, learn transferable skills, and gain real-world experience that you will never get in a classroom.
We have an immediate opening for an Intern in our Motion Picture Music department. .
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
* Assist with phones, filing & faxing
* Monitor incoming & outgoing materials related to our slate of films
* Organize weekly music research updates (chart positions, sales figures, radio impressions, etc.)
* Create monthly Paramount Music Samplers
* Conduct music research (chart histories, sales figures) on artists considered for film placements
* Assist with music searches thru our music database
* Orchestrate time sensitive deliveries
* Attend mixing & scoring sessions when appropriate
* Participate in creative meetings & presentations when appropriate
Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
*Must be proficient in iTunes, WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT
* MUST be ENROLLED in a Bachelors or Masters Degrees program at an accredited institution
* Must be at a minimum 3rd or 4th year standing student
Desired skills:
*Comfortable in an office environment
* Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff, internal and external contacts and senior management.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects
Eligibility requirements:
* Must be able to commit to 20-40 hours a week, possible nights and weekends
* Must be able to commit to working the full nine weeks of the program
* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered

* Must be able to show eligibility to work in the United States
