This position will be located in the Houston, Texas office.
Account Specialist-Motor Fuels Index and Convenience Store Monitor.
Responsibilities:
• Achieve/grow planned revenue targets for assigned clients. • Develop knowledge of the client’s industries, demonstrating category and industry expertise in all client engagements. • Support the team in managing day-to-day relationships with clients including full ownership of trainings, monthly reporting and daily client inquiries. • Aid in the development and execution of account plans; understand the client's organization; their internal objectives and planned use of NPD data to meet those objectives. • Build strong, long-term relationships with existing client contacts. Assist the team in establishing new relationships to broaden user base within existing clients. • Prepare issue-based data analyses and present findings/recommendations to clients in a way that focuses on the story. • Support all Motor Fuels Index related PR data requests with a focus on story-telling.
Qualifications:
• 2-5+ years of experience in account management or client service research within market research (consumer, POS, custom and/or syndicated research) • Bachelor’s degree • Working knowledge of NPD methodologies or complementary services is preferred • Strong analysis and writing ability - digests diverse data sets into cohesive and succinct stories • Strong organizational and project management skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels • Expert in all MS Office products, Excel, PowerPoint, & Word • Travel (typically 10% - 15%)
