We are currently seeking an intern for our Internal Audit Department at our Corporate Headquarters in Reading, PA.  The individual in this position will assist our Internal Audit Department with SOX 404 compliance work for the period mid-January through April 2010.  The Internal Audit Intern will be given the opportunity to participate in most aspects of the staff auditor position.  The candidate will be provided relevant hands on training and have the opportunity to perform documentation and testing of the company’s internal controls.  Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to assist with select substantive testing which is relied upon by our external auditors for our annual financial statements.  The internship allows the candidate to gain relevant real world experience auditing the controls and financial statement balances for the cash, revenue, and receivables, purchases and payables, payroll, and fixed asset processes.  The intern will also have direct exposure to and is expected to interact with various members of operating and corporate management.  The opportunity for travel is available if interested.

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a major in either Accounting or Finance with a solid academic background evidencing a challenging workload and academic achievement; be a self-starter and self-motivated; have a basic understanding of GAAP; excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills; and have basic computer skills using Excel, Word, and the Internet
